Exciting upcoming performances

On April 14 and 21, Regula Mühlemann is the soloist in Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 at the Großes Festspielhaus in Salzburg with conductor Mariss Jansons.

She continues her Cleopatra concerts tour with La Folia Barockorchester at the KKL Luzern on April 25, and Villingen-Schwenningen on May 3.

On May 11, 12, she sings one of the soprano solos in Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 at the Wiener Konzerthaus, with Franz Welser-Möst on the podium. The other soloists are Erin Wall, Julia Kleiter, Wiebke Lehmkuhl, Jennifer Johnston, Giorgio Berrugi, Peter Mattei and Georg Zeppenfeld.

The big events to end the season are Ariadne auf Naxos at Teatro alla Scala from April 23 to June 22 with Franz Welser-Möst leading the orchestra and Le Nozze di Figaro at Opernhaus Zürich from June 10 – July 6, conducted by Ottavio Dantone.

In Ariadne auf Naxos, Ms. Mühlemann sings Echo, alongside Eva Liebau as Najade and Anna-Doris Capitelli as Dryade. Krassimira Stoyanova and Tamara Wilson share the title role, Sabine Devieilhe and Brenda Rae are Zerbinetta and Daniela Sindram is the Composer.

In Le Nozze di Figaro, Regula Mühlemann stars as Susanna, with Alexander Miminoshvili as Figaro, Audun Iversen as Il Conte di Almaviva, Golda Schultz as La Contessa and Samantha Hankey as Cherubino.
