Early summer concerts
This summer Regula Mühlemann heads to Grafenegg to sing a Midsummer Night’s Gala on June 20 and 21 with tenor Pene Pati and accordionist Martynas Levickis. She’ll sing arias and a duet from Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette with Marta Gardolińska leading the orchestra.
She then heads to the Semperoper Dresden to sing the Mater Gloriosa solo in Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 on July 7, 8 and 9. She will be joined by conductor Christian Thielemann and soloists Camilla Nylund, Ricarda Merbeth, Štěpánka Pučálková, Christa Mayer, David Butt Philip, Michael Volle and Georg Zeppenfeld.
On July 11 she joins a star-studded roster of singers for a Farinelli & Friends Gala at the Wiener Staatsoper. Cecilia Bartoli planned this evening alongside the Musiciens du Prince – Monaco, the period instrument orchestra she founded, which will be led by Gianluca Capuano.
