On April 28, Regula Mühlemann will grace the stage of the Alte Oper to sing a program of Mozart and R. Strauss arias with the HR-Sinfonieorchester conducted by Tarmo Peltokoski.

She then travels to the Basilica dei Santi Felice e Fortunato in Vicenza on May 5 to sing the soprano solo in Haydn’s Die Schöpfung. The other soloists will be Werner Güra, Robert Holl, and Georg Klimbacher, under Sir András Schiff’s baton.

Reprising her Fairy Tales program with the CHAARTS Chamber Artists on May 9, she will sing at Munich’s Prinzregententheater. The last performances of the month take her back to Italy, where on May 18, 19 and 20 she will sing the part of Mater gloriosa in Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 at Teatro alla Scala. Joining her as soloists will be Marina Rebeka, Krassimira Stoyanova, Wiebke Lehmkuhl, Okka von der Damerau, Klaus Florian Vogt, Andrè Schuen, and Ain Anger. Riccardo Chailly conducts.
