After singing a recital in Barcelona with frequent collaborator pianist Tatjana Kornsunskaya on October 7, Regula Mühlemann reunites with the CHAARTS Chamber Artists to continue their Fairy Tales tour after their performances last November.

Embedded in Grieg’s first Peer Gynt Suite and instrumental parts of Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, delicate fairy and wonder creatures cavort on the imaginary opera stage of this concert. With goblin-like episodes, delirious passages and romantic sound images, a musical arc of great narrative power unfolds.

This tour takes them to the Konzerthaus Blaibach on October 14, the Konzertsaal Solothurn on October 16, the Liestal Stadtkirche on October 18, St. Peter’s Church in Zurich on October 19, the Wiener Konzerthaus on October 21, and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg on October 27.

On October 23, Ms. Mühlemann deviates from the tour for a single performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 at London’s Royal Albert Hall, with Vasily Petrenko conducting.
