Next month, Regula Mühlemann and the CHAARTS Chamber Artists join forces for a tour of grand opera, filigree singspiel and fulminant orchestral suites inspired by fairy tales. Fused by the congenial instrumental art of Wolfgang Renz into gripping immediacy, and in the dialogue between the singer and eleven musicians, oases of the finest musicality as well as sound spaces of remarkable fullness open up.

Embedded in Grieg’s first Peer Gynt Suite and instrumental parts of Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, delicate fairy and wonder creatures cavort on the imaginary opera stage of this concert. With goblin-like episodes, delirious passages and romantic sound images, a musical arc of great narrative power unfolds.

This tour takes them to the Löwensaal in Beinwil on November 5, the Alte Kirche Boswil on November 7  and the Theater Lindau on November 11.
