On March 3, Regula Mühlemann performs in a Benefit AIDS Gala at Opernhaus Düsseldorf. The AIDS Gala is a classical music event of the highest quality which is a perfect example of how to combine the pleasures of music with making a contribution to a worthy and important cause. International singing stars, including Ms. Mühlemann, and members of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein ensemble, together with Duisburger Philharmoniker and the Klassik Radio presenter Holger Wemhoff all donate their services free of charge in order to support the charity. All the proceeds from the 9th festive opera gala benefit the German AIDS Foundation.

Afterwards, she sets off on a tour of Beethoven’s Fidelio, starring as Marzelline alongside Klaus Florian Vogt as Florestan and Annette Dasch as Leonore. The performances are on March 13 (MC2, Grenoble), March 17 (Forum am Schlosspark, Ludwigsburg) and March 19 (Theater an der Wien, Vienna). To end the month, she goes on another tour, this time singing Johannes-Passion with the Camerata Vocale Freiburg on March 25 (Konzerthaus, Freiburg), March 29 (Martinskirche, Basel) and March 30 (KKL, Lucerne).
